As part of the Yorkshire Policy Innovation Partnership (YPIP), this project aims to accelerate climate action and nature recovery by improving the application of relevant evidence to policy and practice.
In partnership with local communities and public sector organisations, researchers under this project are working on three key areas:
1. Support for retrofit efforts such that heritage buildings become more sustainable in their energy usage.
2. Empower land use changes to enable reduced negative environmental impact and nature recovery.
3. Collaboration with communities who are engaged in environmental projects to build community-led environmental resilience.
